Brown Shantung Tie

Brown tie made of silk Shantung, 8,5 cm width.

Shantung is a silk cloth made of raw yarn with very characteristical, asymetrical lumpy thickenings in the thread. Originally it was uncollored, now produced in variety of colours. Its name comes from Chinese Shantung provice, where it was originally produced.

The tie is made in Italy in a small workshop.
